Research Interests
Exploit recent and new satellite missions, including analysis/assimilation of products resulting from them, to improve our understanding and ability to model and predict atmospheric variability, with focuses on:
  • The intercontinental transport of pollution and the effect on regional air quality.
  • The use of atmospheric concentration measurements in combination with inverse modeling methods to constrain emissions of pollutants from specific geopolitical source regions.
  • The interactions between climate change and atmospheric composition/regional air quality.
